Waiting on Wednesday | Unearthed by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner

Book: Unearthed by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner

Expected Publication: January 9th 2018 by Disney-Hyperion

Why I'm Waiting: Y'ALL.  Okay, we already know how epic Amie and Meagan are.  But together, they are EPIC.  I mean, just look at the Starbound trilogy a.k.a one of my favorite series of all time.  I don't know how these two do it, but they never fail to write kickass characters and an overall crazy, fun story.  So I'm super excited to see what these two do with this new series!  Also, I'm majorly hyped because ALIENS and SPACE!!!  Also, two unlikely friends thrown together on an epic journey?  Sign me up please.  You better believe I'm gonna be hauling my ass to B&N on the 9th to go grab myself a copy, and I can't wait to read the rest of the day away in utter bliss.

Series Review | The Starbound Triology

Hi everyone!  Since I'm too lazy to post individual reviews, I decided to do a series review of all three Starbound Trilogy books.  I already talked about These Broken Stars in a Book Recommendation post (you can read it here), but I decided to include it in this post as well.

I read These Broken Stars September of last year, and I fell in love.  Unfortunately, I was too broke to buy the second book (I found the first one in my local library) and the third hadn't even come out yet.  I thought I would never get around to reading the rest of the series.  Luckily, Christmas came around, and, to my surprise, I got the entire series in hardcover!  I was so happy that I immediately made plans to re-read These Broken Stars, and then read the rest of the series.  I was so excited for This Shattered World and Their Fractured Light, and I'm so glad that I was not disappointed!

Book Rec | These Broken Stars

These Broken Stars Cover

Okay, first of all: just look at this cover.  I mean, come on.
I've been hearing about this book for a while, so when I saw it in our school library, I decided it was a sign that I just had to read it.   And I'm glad I did.  I found myself completely swept up in the story by the first page, and I finished the entire book in one shot.  The story is unique, and the characters are as relatable as they are lovable. I instantly fell in love them (even though Lilac did irk me a little bit in the beginning).

If you're looking for a little sci-fi & romance, and a lot of sarcasm, you need to pick this book up!
