Summary: My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.  But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.  Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

My Rating: 10/10

My Review: I know I say this a lot, but I love this book!!!  I went into this book expecting a regular contemporary love story, but it's so much more than that.  The characters are hilarious and sooo very relatable.  I love Madeline, and her sweetness and strength.  She endured such a hard lifestyle with zero complaints.  I love Olly, and he and Maddy compliment each other so well.  I really like how Olly does parkour.  It's so funny because it's usually such a douchy thing to do, but somehow Olly makes it an adorable quirk.  The premise behind this book is so interesting, and the author executed it perfectly!  It wasn't unbelievable despite the rareness of the situation actually happening.  And the plot twist at the end!!  I was expecting it, but at the same time, I didn't see it coming at all.  Everything about this book is just so well done, and I can't believe that this is Nicola's debut novel!  I will definitely be looking forward to any future books that she writes!
