Why I'm Waiting: Y'ALL.  Okay, we already know how epic Amie and Meagan are.  But together, they are EPIC.  I mean, just look at the Starbound trilogy a.k.a one of my favorite series of all time.  I don't know how these two do it, but they never fail to write kickass characters and an overall crazy, fun story.  So I'm super excited to see what these two do with this new series!  Also, I'm majorly hyped because ALIENS and SPACE!!!  Also, two unlikely friends thrown together on an epic journey?  Sign me up please.  You better believe I'm gonna be hauling my ass to B&N on the 9th to go grab myself a copy, and I can't wait to read the rest of the day away in utter bliss.

Why I'm Waiting:  Ever since seeing Wonder Woman in theaters, I've been especially excited to read this book!  I'm not a big superhero fan, and I've never read any of the comics, so I'm not an expert on Wonder Woman by any means.  However, from what I gathered from watching the movie, I think the story could translate very well into a book, and I'm excited to see what twists Leigh has in store for us!  This is the first of the DC Icons series, so hopefully it lives up to all of our expectations!

Why I'm Waiting:  I love The Lunar Chronicles with all my fangirl heart, and my aforementioned heart almost couldn't take it when I learned that Iko was getting her own graphic novel!!  I don't read a lot of graphic novels, but I'm willing to make an exception for this one.  Iko was one of my favorite characters in The Lunar Chronicles (okay, I say that about all of the characters), and I've always wanted more POVs from her.  We got to see a little of that in Winter, but a whole novel!!  Like I said, I don't know if my heart can take it.  Overall, I'm super excited to read this, and I can't wait to see all of my beautiful favorite characters again.

Why I'm Waiting: I've been waiting for this book ever since MARCH.  The Lunar Chronicles is one of my favorite series ever, and this synopsis just sounds too good to be true.

Why I'm Waiting: Everything, Everything is one of my favorite contemporary reads, so I'm excited to see what else Nicola has in store for us.

Why I'm Waiting: I love Richelle's Vampire Academy and Bloodlines series so much!  Soundless, however, let me down quite a bit, so I hope this one renews my love for her writing.  Plus, that cover is drop-dead-gorgeous.  I cannot wait to have it on my shelves!

It's actually been less than two months, but that's a long time to wait when you're waiting to see what happens next to your favorite characters!  Seriously, this book needs to be here like yesterday.  If you haven't read this series yet, then you need to pick up Air Awakens right now!  It's probably my favorite series of all time. Trust me, by the time you finish Fire Falling, you will be thanking me!  And be sure to pick up Earth's End on the 11th!
