Stacking the Shelves | Book Outlet Haul

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews!  Be sure to check them out for more information!

So in case you don't stalk Book Outlet on Twitter like I do, there was a big Boxing Day sale this past week, and if you're anything like me, it's literally impossible to resist a good book sale.  As soon as I saw the tweet, I just had to take a peek at the website.  Before I knew it, my cart had six books and I was checking out.  Point being: I have no self control and I need someone to take my debit card away from me any time I even consider shopping online for books.

Anyway, here's my Book Outlet haul from the Boxing Day sale!  Let me know if you've read any of them, or if you also have no self control and bought too many books during the sale...

Black Friday Mini Haul!

So apparently I thought I was going to make it the whole weekend without taking advantage of the Black Friday deals on books...Hahaha...Real funny Bryce...  That plan disintegrated the second my friend texted me saying, "Let's go to Half Price Books tomorrow."  I know.  I'm weak.

Anyway, I ended up getting three books that I really wanted, so I can justify them as an early birthday present to myself and call it good.

Holding up the Universe by Jennifer Niven

All the Bright Places literally caused me physical pain to read because it was so sad, but I'm willing to take the chance and offer up my heart to Jennifer one more time.  Please don't break it, Jennifer.

Heartless by Marissa Meyer

I've been wanting to read this book since I first heard about it at YallWest back in May.  They handed out ARCs, but sadly, I didn't get one.  Ever since then, I've been patiently waiting for another chance to have this book in my grasp, and that chance has finally arrived!  I hope to start this within the next week.

The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon

I absolutely loved Everything, Everything, so when I heard that Nicola was coming out with another book, I was stoked!  The synopsis looks super interesting, and I'm excited to dive right into this book!

So, did you score any good deals on Black Friday?  Or do you have more restraint than me... Let me know in the comments!

BookOutlet Book Haul | Vlog

Hi everyone!  Okay so I never post on my Youtube channel because Youtube is really intimidating and I always feel like I need to dress up and film using a good camera with good lighting.  Plus I HATE editing!!!  So I decided to do none of those things and post it here.  Also, because I didn't edit it, there are definitely some cringe-worthy moments...  However, for the few people who will watch this, I don't feel the same pressure as YouTube.  I feel like you guys won't judge me as much hahaha.

Anyway, this is my BookOutlet book haul!  The books mentioned are down below if anyone wants the links.  I hope you guys like this video, and if you want me to do more vlog-style reviews and book hauls, then let me know in the comments!  I will probably edit future videos, if I end up doing more, just so you know.

P.S. Please ignore the following: me staring at myself the entire video instead of the camera because i'm incredibly self-centered, me wiping my nose a lot (gross), my friend randomly chilling in the background and making comments the entire video, my constant stream of "but" "umm" and "like", & the terrible lighting + background.

Books mentioned: Tandem | Tiger Lily | Until Friday Night | I'll Give You the Sun | Infinite Sky | The Summer of Chasing Mermaids

Book Haul | Christmas 2015

Christmas is my absolute favorite time of the year!  I love the decorations, the beautiful lights, the smells.  I love getting together with family.  This year, my book-loving self was spoiled to death.  I think everyone finally realized that I wasn't joking when I said the only thing I wanted for Christmas was books...
So, without further adieu, here is my 2015 Christmas book haul!
